Yes, just like a motel, Critter Camp has a check-out time.Check-out time is 1:00 pm on Tuesday thru Saturday. Since we're closed on Sundays, campers may be picked up any time (until 6:00 pm) on Mondays without incurring an additional camping day's fee.
An additional day's fee will be charged for campers not picked
up by check-out time. Campers scheduled for grooming or bathing on their departure date
will be moved to the "Beauty Parlor" and may stay until closing (6:00 pm).
| Note: |
 | If someone other than yourself will be picking up your pet, we must be notified in advance. |

It is your responsibility to keep us informed of innoculation records for your
pets! If our records show your pet's shots are not current, we will attempt to inform you
of this when you make your appointment. If we must call your vet to verify your pet's vaccinations there
will be a $5.00 charge. If we cannot verify current shots, we will take your pet to the vet
for innoculation! The cost is $50.00 for use of the camp-mobile (includes mileage).
Dog's Required Shots
- Rabies
- Distemper/Parvo
- Bordetella
Cat's Required Shots
- Rabies
- F.V.R./C.P.
- Feline Leukemia

Please inform us immediately if you change vets. Failure to do this can prevent us from
verifying records which can incur unnecessary shots for your pet and expense for you.

We work hard to keep Critter Camp clean however, due to the social nature of Critter
Camp, exposure is possible. Please keep your pet's shots up to date.
For the protection of your pet, as well the other pets staying with us, Critter Camp
requires Bordetella immunization. Bordetella is similar to human bronchitis
and is contagious. It is possible for campers to be exposed to this or other viruses. You may also wish to read about
Canine Cough.
Please tell us if you believe your pet has fleas or ticks. Critter Camp does
have monthly pest control but has from time to time found a tick on a pet going home.
We examine each pet that comes to camp but, being human, we might miss one. We do
ask that you let us know if your pet has a pest problem. If so we will dip him before
admission to Critter Camp. Please call us if you find you arrive home with more critters
than you left us with...We will dip your pet for free and give our pest man a call to come and
spray our camp. We do our best to insure your pet will not come home with any little boo-boos. However,
just as with children, accidents can happen. In the event of an accident or injury we
will take your pet to the vet, but all charges will be paid by the owner.

We keep Critter Camp clean and sanitized. Our condo's are concrete so that if your
pet has a problem such as loose stool, blood in the urine, or any other medical problem
we will be able to report this to you. Campers are not locked in at night unless we are
requested to do so. This allows campers to go outdoors to potty. While we are constantly cleaning
Critter Camp, it is possible for campers to walk through or lay down outside in their own potty.
We have found that some of our campers potty inside their pet condo. For this reason we suggest
that you allow us to bathe your pet just prior returning home. This will insure they return home
smelling sweet.

At Critter Camp we do everything in our power to assure that campers stay in a safe
and secure environment at all times. We ask that you inform us if you think your pet can open gates,
climb fences, dig out, tear at fences, is fearful of storms or fireworks or has any other
habits that could cause him harm.
To discourage climbing and digging, Critter Camp is surrounded by a 6' chain link fence that is curved-in at the top and set in concrete
at the bottom.
In the unlikely event a pet becomes lost from Critter Camp, the staff will start looking
for them as soon as this is discovered. The sheriff's department will be notified and
an ad will be placed in the newspaper to try and locate the pet. Each day the crew of
Critter Camp will be out looking for the pet, placing posters at various locations
in the area. The animal shelters also will be notified. We will do everything possible to
prevent this from happening. However, because some pets are prone to escape, we cannot be
responsible for any pet that does.
